Will the Dubai property market crash, or will it turn out to be a short, sharp correction followed by the onward march upwards?
That is the question. It is one to which we all have our personal opinions, often motivated by what we would like to happen rather than what we think actually will.
Not many developers or estate agents are going to admit that the future looks bleak. Their self interest dictates that talking up the market is more likely.
On the contrary, potential investors out there who missed the Dubai express rocket first time round will be talking down the market to give them a chance to board the gravy train.
So will Dubai crash and burn? Or is it the unstoppable International City of the future – the biggest, the best, and irrepressable?
